Thanks Francis. Always nice to hear from my two northern-most listeners in Iqaluit. No plans to mount a movie of TBLP but you never know! I think any such lofty thoughts will at least have to wait until the novel is published in the next couple of months. I'll certainly keep you posted. Thanks listening all the way through.

Hi Terry!

My wife and I just finished listening to the final episode of The Best Laid Plans.

What a satisfying conclusion to a wonderfully entertaining tale! Thank you so much for putting this out there for us to enjoy over these last few months. You’re an excellent storyteller, and we appreciate you sharing with us. We’re eager to read the print version as well, once it’s out.

Any plans to try making this into a movie? I’d love to see an irritated Angus shooing away reporters like flies or barrelling over the ice in his homemade hovercraft!

Congratulations!

Congratulations, Terry, on publishing the last chapter and receiving all these fan letters. I am looking forward to buying your book from Chapters/Indigo someday soon! Will you autograph it?

Terry,
Brilliant... absolutely brilliant! I loved the ending as all the pieces came together and the hovercraft side plot suddenly played a key role. Very well done! I, too, am very much looking forward to having a copy to add to my bookshelves - and will definitely recommend it to my political friends down here in the US, even if your system is, oh, just a wee bit different. Regardless of the system, I think Angus is definitely the kind of politician we all wish we could have. Quite a fun read... and I'll join the chorus in saying that I do look forward to sometime reading about the continuing saga of Angus, Daniel and friends.... :-)

Congrats!

Hey Bryan. What a trooper you are, listening til the bitter end! You've been very kind over the weeks of this podcast and I appreciate it. I'm getting high on the comments I've been receiving. Very cool... Planning for the sequel is just barely started but with the kind of encouragement I've received so far, I'll probably forge ahead. Thanks again...

Terry:

Saw a Twitter post from Joe Thornley this afternoon about Canada's upcoming elections. Having listened to your final chapter this morning, I couldn't help but respond to him with this Tweet:

"Is Angus McLintock going to run? If he does, that could very well tip election in Liberals' favour."

Guess I got to like the Angus character, huh?

Here's a wacky and wild thought: How about a political podcast featuring these elections featuring weekly commentary from Angus? Why can't his character carry on this way? All you've got to do is put on your best Angus voice every week, Terry.

In any case, thank you for an excellent book! It's been appointment listening over the past few months. I'm also looking forward to the sequel.
