Well, things are starting to happen courtesy of the Leacock Medal shortlistThe Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper, will soon be reviewing TBLP in the pages of its wonderful weekend Books section.  I’m thrilled but ever since I found out, my stomach has been in knots.  My agent, Beverley Slopen, told me not to worry about what they may write.  What’s important is that the Globe is actually reviewing it.  Fingers crossed.

Your agent is a wise woman Terry! Be content with the exposure and regardless of what one critic thinks, there are plenty of others who love your book! Rock on!

  2. Joey Says:

    Dear Terry:
I hope you got a good review. Some of the Globe reviewers are absolute morons. If they said anything bad, do not take it to heart. Try looking up the piece of garbage that one of their reviwers, James Bartley, actually had published. It is pretentious and foolish.
