Hanging in, three months later

Wednesday, December 8th, 2021

Operation Angus is still lurking on the national Canadian fiction bestsellers list, at least according to CBC Books. It even slipped up a place to #9. May it continue at least through the holiday shopping season!

I was thrilled to see Operation Angus on the CBC’s list of Best Canadian Books for 2021. I was honestly not expecting to see it there but was just scrolling through the list when up it popped.

Here’s the full list or click on the graphic above. I’m certainly awed by the company I’m somehow keeping.

Supporting Beggars Banquet Books in Gananoque

Monday, December 6th, 2021

I’ve been involved with the 1000 Islands Writers Festival for several years now and always enjoy my visits to beautiful Ganaonque. After a devastating house fire, the wonderful owners of Beggars Banquet Books, Alison Dunn and Tom Stormonth, who lead the team organizing the festival, could sure use your help. The best way to support them is to visit the book store in Gananoque or order a book from them at www.beggarsbanquetbooks.com and have it shipped to you. Thanks so much for helping out in a very challenging time for Alison and Tom.

Back on the Bestsellers List

Wednesday, December 1st, 2021

After having dropped off almost all of the national bestsellers lists a couple of weeks ago, Operation Angus slips back on this week three months after it launched. No complaints here. And the holiday shopping season is just around the corner.
