Poles Apart cover unveiled
Posted July 2, 2015 by Terry Fallis
Well, here you go! As promised, I’m proud to unveil the cover for my fifth novel, Poles Apart, due to hit bookstores on October 20th. I think the design team at Random House/McClelland & Stewart, led by Scott Richardson, have done a great job on the cover. It’s playful and cryptic, and captures the tone and fun of the book very well. My deep thanks to Scott and his crew.
I can’t wait to read it. You are one of my favorite authors. If it is half as good as your other novels then we are in for a treat.
When will the podcasts start? Eagerly awaiting the new novel!
The podcast edition of Poles Apart should be starting towards the end of the July. Hope you enjoy it.
hi Terry,
OK out of the bush and back on the grid to discover your podcasts have begun – thrilled. I think next edition of Poles Apart should include front cover acknowledge for No Relation as well. Having said that, my favourite Terry Fallis book remains Up and Down. I laughed, loved and delighted in that entire story. Landon Percival was a remarkably developed character who I wanted to meet in real life. I was shocked when a naval commander friend of mine was reviewing it at a bookclub and compared the character to me. Although far from the mark, it was a penultimate compliment. I wish you every bit as much success with Poles Apart. Please come to Ottawa to our International Writers Festival so we can celebrate your writing even more.
Thanks Patricia. I am in fact coming to the Ottawa International Writers Festival on October 27th. Hope to see you there.
