In the spring of 2022, I started a newsletter, Terry Fallis: A Novel Journey, for avid readers and aspiring writers. I use Substack as my newsletter platform and it makes it very easy for you to subscribe. I have been, and will be, writing about various aspects of the writing life including my own unorthodox journey to the published land, encounters with other writers, my own novels, my writing process, and my writing travels, among other related topics. I hope you’ll find them interesting, entertaining, even funny at times. I’m enjoying writing them. It’ll give you a view behind the scenes, an inside look at the life of a practicing novelist in Canada. You can check out what you’ve missed, and subscribe here so that all future newsletters arrive in your inbox. (You can also just click the photo above or the button below.)

Enjoyed your talk yesterday and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. Thanks
Great! I’ll add you to the subscriber list. Thanks.
I recently read the three books featuring Angus McLintock. I hope there will be more. I have never laughed so hard or out loud while reading.
I am currently reading Up and Down with the same effect. I must say that given the political climate and our not so great relationship with our souther neighbour that this book could not be more appropriate. You highlight our differences so beautifully. Thank you so much for this. I am a new fan and shall continue to recommend your books to everyone I know.
Hi Jackie. Thanks so much for your very kind words. I’m so glad you’re enjoying my humble novels. My tenth, The Marionette, will be in bookstores on October 14. In case you’re interested, you may wish to subscribe to my Substack posts that are sent out to subscribers every other Sunday morning. Here’s the link so you can take a look at my tales from the writing life. It’s free to subscribe. https://terryfallis.substack.com/ Here’s hoping our paths cross sometime. All the best. Terry
